Established on 2nd October, 2021, Inner Wheel Club Centenary Haldane Avenue is dedicated to promoting friendship, personal service, and international understanding, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of women and girls worldwide.
IWC Centenary Haldane Avenue’s mission to bring basic sanitation to Dara. Over 30 months, the club built 175 toilets for 175 families who had no access to proper sanitation. What began as a step toward dignity became a complete transformation. Today, Dara is proudly open-defecation free, thanks to this sustained and focused effort.
This school, established in 1942, has stood for decades without a dedicated library for its students.
Today, that gap has finally been addressed with the construction of a fully equipped library, completed within just one year at a cost of approximately 7.5 lakh rupees.
The facility includes books, almirahs, a computer, and a projector—everything required to support modern learning.
This marks a significant step forward in enhancing educational opportunities for the students.
This video highlights IWC Centenary Haldane Avenue’s work under the Happy School initiative. At Dara Bapulirchak Boys High School, five toilets and a drinking water station were built, and the exterior was painted. At Mayahowri Gopal High School, six toilets were added, two water filters provided, and a new library is now under construction.
